Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry - Youth Congress Day 2009 Youth Congress Day Sunday, March 29th 2009 12:45 pm to 6:00 pm You Need to Know the Talk to Walk the Walk Click here to see pictures from the 2009 Youth Congress The 2009 Diocesan Youth Congress took place on March 29, 2009 from 12:45pm - 6:00pm at Cathedral of St. Columba Hall and Church, Youngstown. High school age young people from throughout the diocese came together to reflect upon and discuss issues and questions surrounding several life issues. Time was spent learning from Church leaders and other teens about what is important to be a disciple of Jesus Christ; and to envision the future of the Church as part of the diocesan planning process. There were roundtable discussions, prayer, fun, food and Mass in the Cathedral. Input was submitted to Msgr. Zuraw and the diocesan planning committee. The OY & YAM staff thanks all the group leaders, facilitators, and the planning team for make this great day possible!
